Sustainability |
The way we construct buildings and the way we live in buildings, are deeply intertwined with the way we organize our social world and its interaction with nature. Sustainable development as an effort to integrate ecological, economic, and social dimensions of our future activities has one of its touchstones in the issue of sustainable buildings. As pressure on natural resources grows due to population growth and industrial expansion it is crucial that we measure, understand and manage our impact on the environment and as a part of this, how we delivery sustainable projects whilst reducing our carbon front print and our overall impact on the natural world.
RR’s dedicated Sustainability team has extensive experience nationally, regionally and internationally in Green Building and delivering projects which prioritise occupants wellbeing, decarbonisation and efficient operation. To this end, we provide Project and Cost Management services to support our clients wishing to create and operate healthy built environments on 7 core principles across the building’s life cycle: reducing source consumption, reusing resources, using recyclable resources, protecting nature, eliminating toxins, applying life cycle costing, and focusing on quality. |
