Our Approach To Procuring Works & Services

Procurement assembles through purchasing the goods, services and works necessary to complete your project.

The main objectives of Procurement are to achieve value for money (VfM) purchases in an efficient and accountable manner while avoiding corruption and conflict of interest.

Organisations governed by public law have the added onerous obligation of legal compliance. This legal obligation requires that their procurements are designed and administered to ensure they deliver competition, equal treatment, non-discrimination and process transparency.

Buying on price alone has limited application and can threaten the successful outcome of projects.

“There is hardly anything in the world today that some man cannot make just a little worse and sell a little cheaper. The people who buy on price alone are this man’s lawful prey” John Ruskin (1819-1900).

Designing a procurement process and strategy that focuses on and identifies the Economic Operator that best aligns with the project’s objectives is critical for a successful outcome.

RR procurement specialists will plan and design a procurement process that:
  • Will deliver on your requirements within their quality, cost and time constraints.
  • Is efficient to ensure economy of time and resources.
  • Is clear and thorough on requirements to minimise the risk of change orders.
  • Is auditable to ensure corporate or legal compliance.
